AltaMed Partners with Baby2Baby to Celebrate Mothers and Support Families in Need

Baby2Baby hosted a Mother's Day celebration welcoming hundreds of mothers and children, including 40 families from AltaMed, providing essential supplies and heartfelt gifts to recognize the extraordinary contributions of maternal care.

A Day for Mom

For many families, moms are the heart of the household—the doctors, chefs, bus drivers, counselors, and everything in between. Organizations that support families deeply understand the many roles they play. That’s why Baby2Baby recently hosted a special Mother’s Day brunch, welcoming hundreds of mothers and their children, including 40 families from AltaMed, to honor and celebrate all that moms do every day.

I feel supported, loved, and empowered to keep pushing for my children.

Baby2Baby hosted hundreds of Los Angeles moms at their Mother’s Day Celebration, where moms got to take home toys, baby supplies, groceries, and more.

Held at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens, the day was filled with joy, relaxation, and meaningful connections. As kids played with bubbles and danced with volunteers, moms were treated to a healthy lunch, fresh flowers, and thoughtful gifts like beauty products, toys, groceries, and baby essentials—bringing smiles to faces both big and small.

Aaliyah O. summed up the impact perfectly, saying, “I felt valued and seen as a mother.”

It meant a lot because it is good to get help if you need it. You don’t need to be afraid like how I was.

A Lasting Partnership with Impact

This Mother’s Day Celebration is just one example of Baby2Baby’s continued partnership with AltaMed Foundation. In addition to the event, the organization has donated thousands of baby supplies in 2025, including five pallets of essentials for those impacted by the Eaton fire and continued relief via Maternal Health and Newborn Supply Kits for patients seen at the AltaMed El Monte and Pasadena clinics.

Together, AltaMed and Baby2Baby are making sure families feel cared for—on Mother’s Day and every day.
