Bob Lancaster's Lifelong Giving Spirit Fuels AltaMed's Local Health Care Golf Tournament
Founder and golf committee member Bob Lancaster brings decades of generosity, resilience, and community commitment to AltaMed, helping raise funds for families who rely on accessible health care in Huntington Beach.
Champion for Local Health Care
Even as a first grader, Bob Lancaster understood the importance of helping those less fortunate. That spirit of giving, along with his passion for golf, has shaped his nearly 20-year relationship with AltaMed.
As a founder and active golf committee member, Bob has watched the AltaMed golf tournament grow in stature and impact since its launch in 2002. The annual event raises funds for families served by the AltaMed clinic in Huntington Beach.
A Vietnam War veteran and survivor of cancer, COVID-19, and multiple surgeries, Bob brings a warrior's resilience to his service. He supports AltaMed in honor of his mother, whose love and concern for access to care shaped his philanthropy.
