Alejandro, 59, maintains an active lifestyle and takes pride in his health. He and his wife regularly walk at South Gate Park near their longtime home and he has coached and played soccer throughout his life with family members. A workplace knee injury has recently forced him to use a cane and restrict his activities.

He has been on Worker's Compensation since the accident and faces potential additional knee surgery. His family struggles to cover essential expenses like utilities and groceries without his regular income.
After this injury happened, everything went down for me. I get depressed because I have always worked; I am a hard worker.
