As a child, Bob Lancaster collected donations door-to-door for the March of Dimes. His longstanding commitment to giving back and his love of golf have defined a two-decade relationship with AltaMed that continues to make an impact.

As a child, Bob Lancaster demonstrated early charitable instincts by collecting donations door-to-door for the March of Dimes despite his family's limited financial resources. His longstanding commitment to giving and golf has defined his approximately two-decade relationship with AltaMed.

Golf Tournament Leadership

Lancaster founded and actively serves on the golf committee for AltaMed's annual tournament at The Huntington Club, established in 2002. Proceeds support healthcare services at the Huntington Beach clinic.

A Warrior's Journey

Lancaster is a Vietnam War veteran who survived colon cancer and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma from Agent Orange exposure, plus COVID-19 and three back surgeries within four years.

There's no place for weakness. You got to be a warrior.
