Circle of Support
Since our earliest days, generosity has been part of AltaMed's story. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, patients would drop a dollar - or whatever change they could spare - into a water jug that served as a community piggy bank. Those small gifts reflected something powerful: neighbors helping neighbors so everyone could receive care.
Although the water jug has been retired, we continue to embrace our culture of generosity and community with the support of the AltaMed Foundation.
