For more than two decades, AltaMed has partnered with Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) to bring world-class pediatric care directly into the communities we serve. Together, AltaMed and CHLA provide comprehensive primary and specialty care for children through co-staffed clinics that combine AltaMed's trusted community-based approach with CHLA's nationally recognized pediatric expertise.

AltaMed's longstanding partnership with Adventist Health White Memorial - one of the region's leading nonprofit teaching hospitals - provides patients with access to advanced hospital-based care while helping train the next generation of health care professionals. Through this collaboration, AltaMed Family Residency Program participants gain hands-on clinical experience across a wide range of inpatient specialties.

Specialized dental care for vulnerable children
Healthy Smiles for Kids by AltaMed and Rady Children's Health (formerly CHOC) have a collaborative partnership to provide comprehensive pediatric dental care in Orange County. This partnership allows us to treat vulnerable children who have complex dental needs. In addition, AltaMed dentists provide dental clearance services for pediatric oncology patients and children undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Training tomorrow's pediatric specialists
AltaMed partners with the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry to help train the next generation of pediatric dental specialists. Through a residency program based at AltaMed's Sunflower Clinic and Rady Children's Health, dental residents gain hands-on experience treating medically complex children in both clinical and hospital settings, expanding access to specialized care for children throughout Orange County.
